As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time TCO in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and may assist with tasks requiring lifting over 20 pounds. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility protocols.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when assigned, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
