We are seeking a high-energy, "rock star" Dental Assistant to complete our clinical team. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who thrives in a surgical setting and is passionate about specialty dentistry. You will work closely with the doctor to ensure seamless surgical procedures and provide exceptional care to our patients throughout their treatment journey.
Periodontal Surgical Assistant
Job Description Surgical Assisting: Provide proficient chairside assistance during periodontal surgeries and implant placements.
Clinical Preparation: Prepare and organize surgical suites with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment.
Patient Interaction: Greet patients, review medical histories, and provide clear post-operative care instructions to ensure comfortable recoveries.
Radiography: Capture high-quality diagnostic digital X-rays to assist in surgical planning and evaluation.
Sterilization: Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, including the sterilization of specialized surgical instruments.
Practice Growth: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to help optimize practice workflows.
part-time $28 - $32 per hour

Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday: Morning shifts available (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Sunday: Closed
Certification: Valid State of New Jersey X-ray License.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in dental assisting.
Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
Professionalism: High attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, patient-centered attitude.
Specialty Experience: Prior experience assisting in periodontal surgery or dental implant procedures.
Growth Mindset: A desire to increase clinical responsibilities as the practice continues to expand.
